The standard valuation option that we offer is based on the weight of your items. We will provide coverage of up to £0.60 per pound, per item. This means that if an item is lost, damaged, or destroyed during the move, we will reimburse you for its weight multiplied by £0.60.
However, we understand that some items may be worth more than their weight in gold. In such cases, we recommend that you consider our full value protection option. With this option, we will provide coverage for your items based on their actual value, subject to a deductible.
To ensure that you have full coverage for your items, we encourage you to provide us with an accurate valuation of your belongings before the move. This will allow us to determine the appropriate level of coverage and help to ensure that you are fully protected.
We also offer a third valuation option called declared value protection. This is a good option for those who want to protect their belongings, but do not want to pay for full value protection. With declared value protection, you declare the value of your items in writing and we provide coverage based on that value, subject to a deductible.
